Who we are
Starglide is a personal website. The website address is: https://starglide.eu.
Personal data I collect and why
This site collects the least amount of user information possible. As audience, you cannot register to receive updates or create user profiles. Strangely enough, I hope you’ll remind yourself to come back if you find anything interesting here.
Comments
If you leave comments, the site collects the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. But you cannot leave comments. If you would like to have a conversation, I have slots available for that, please head to livepods.eu to find out more.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on this site you may opt in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year. But again, no comments in this site.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site will not include embedded content from external content providers (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.) since I cannot determine if they will use that content to track you.
Analytics
This website does not use third party analytics. Analytics measure anonymous website traffic and page views using server-generated statistics.
Who I share your data with
No body
How long I retain your data
If you leave a comment, but you can’t, the comment and its metadata are usually retained indefinitely. This is so we the site recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
You cannot register on this website. Thank me for one less password to remember, and for one less entry point for a hacker to steal the only password you are using. over and over.
What rights you have over your data
This is a great question and you should ask it to yourself very often. Instead, you are probably already giving away your data with no rights whatsoever to hundreds of platforms which make millions out of it (while they can) for the most stupid service aimed at making you just a tiny little bit lazier. I have no data of yours, thank me for not treating you like a digital whore.
Where I send your data
At this point, it should be clear that I have no data of yours.
Your contact information
Isn’t it amazing how many sections other websites need to fill with BS in order to capture and use your information?
Additional information
How I protect your data
Comments and metadata would be part of the database that is feeding this website if they were collected, but they are not. The database is protected with all possible measures against external intrusion and other attacks.
What data breach procedures I have in place
In case of data breach, only the administrator’s personal data will be compromised. I will receive a notification, curse the attacker and rebuild the site in the limits of what will be possible to restore, at my own expenses.
What third parties I receive data from
I do not receive data from third parties.
What automated decision making and/or profiling I do with audience data
I do not collect personal data from my audience.
Industry regulatory disclosure requirements
